Personally? I spend alot of time gathering flowers before I set up a base and yes, I have gotten starts where it's Spring instead of Autumm. Parasols are pretty cheap and they make decent tinder.
Straw Hat + Pretty Parasol + standing-near-a-tree will give you -Wetness even when it's pouring. Light a campfire nearby and you'll dry out very quickly.
