Floaty Boaty Knight armada (ShipWrecked)

So while playing today, just after sailing out of my base i found 4 Floaty Boaty Knights waiting in ambush, course they were easy to kill and Ive now gained 12 gears :)

was just wondering did this just get patch in or has this had a chance to happen from the start, i like the idea but they are just to easy to kill right now

It is a permanent set piece....(meaning it will always be in the SW game somewhere on the map).... was in since launch.

No this was right out in front of my base where i have sailed at least 50 times, they seem to have just ramdomly appeared there, unless they are sailing around the map, but then they were sitting there stationary

It is part of the update. They said that they now have more floaty boaty spawns. The problem is, they are spawning too much. Day 100 and I have 80 gears. They seem to be glitched and are spawning right outside my base. Its pretty annoying actually. What am I gonna do with all those gears lol

I haven't seen any except for the set piece and I started a new world after the update currently on day 137. 18 islands found 16 completely explored. Only thing that keeps spawning are sharks in my Mangrove area when I'm fishing.

Have you been killing whales? It seems that the clockwork boats will spawn next to whales that are in the bloating process. From there, they keep spawning all over the place.

Yeah, 4 spawned in off the coast of my GF's base and a few days later 2 more joined their flotilla They're also cropping up all over the world; while they are easy to kill, it is becoming a nuisance. I reckon devs need to crank down the Floaty Boaty Knight war machine just a bit.

Yeah, I've noticed they spawn in the location you kill whales, sea hounds, and possibly more stuff. I killed some sea hounds off the coast and a little while later the floaty boats spawned there.
