No.
Only Don't Starve Together has multiplayer, and that is mp only and a standalone. I believe in time content from ship wrecked will be put into DST. Reason I say this is because they put content from the Solo games expansion : Reign of Giants, into Don't Starve Together.

To answer any future Q's no you do not need to own Reign of Giants to get the content from it in Don't Starve Together. So if they put Ship Wrecked content into Don't Starve Together I assume it will be the same case.

Like dont starve..just hold off on buying till they release a coop version.. when they did dont starve together the game exploded...so im sure they will add it for shipwrecked someday..because that will be when most will buy it
Sadly, no.

DST (Don't Starve Together) is sadly just RoG + basic content, and it is still a work in progress. I would say only when DST is fully released will Klei look towards making a Shipwrecked compatible multiplayer, and that might take awhile.

How come thats the case? If they already made the original game multiplayer valid why is the DLCs such a problem?

SW isn't made by Klei itself instead it was made by Capybara games while the mainteam from Klei is still working on "Through the Ages" (a big Expansion for DST that will introduce Edngame content).

Also i'm still not to sure if SW will 100% be implemented into DST for starters there has to be a reason to buy the Standalone over DST so having exclusive Content for both is a given thing. Second of all implementing the Worldhopping will probably be a Nightmare considering how long it took for the Caves to get implemented into Vanilla DS so if SW will ever be implemented into DS i suppose you won't be able to worldhop.

Also i think no one here understands that they had to rework a lot of mechanics for DST the best example being the Giants as alongside a couple of other things like balance changes to the Characters ontop of the Netcode so it's understnadable when things like that take a bit longer.
