New XXV-100 Tradition
I've been doing this with some friends who recently became XXV-100 as well as some randoms. It's a fun thing to do to celebrate reaching Infamy 25.

When you're at XXV-98/99 your last heist should be the first heist you remember doing. Often its bank heist which is always a throwback for me and its fun to end it where it all began. You often have to do the heist several times before capping off at level 100 but its still fun to celebrate and reflect on how far you've come as a player. You can also check which achievement you got for a heist first if you can't remember or want to be sure. Achievements have the date achieved on them so you can search with that.

Anyways just thought I would share this fun activity with the community since getting to XXV is a big milestone and should be celebrated! :dallas::hoxton::chains::wolf:

Ever since crime spree was added, getting to XXV isn't really a milestone. You can do it in a couple hours if you wanted.

What you should could even try is doing your first heist with a no-skills build and an AMCAR and Chimano, jut for old time's sake.

I think that’s sad because as the OP
I too consider reaching XXV a milestone. Another thing I think is sad is that they changed the requirements for clearing Tabula Rasa. Now you can carry one deployable but before that wasn’t the case. I and a friend went through hell to clear it and now it seems like a walk in the park.

Using achievements won't really help unless you started playing after Normal-OVERKILL ones were added, otherwise you'd have the Normal ones achieved at the time they were added for every heist you ever did.

Though as said above, due to the Crime Spree reaching 25-100 is no longer a milestone. Speaking of which, who else remembers how they changed it from roman numerals to modern ones (forgot the origin) and then back?

I used to feel that too, but after going through so many XXVs full resets really has lost the magic and I didn't even used CS for all of mine, but now that is a thing seems kinda pointless to go past lvl 100, especially considering most XXVs nowadays are boosted players that can't play without dying 20+ times on DW, cheaters or obnoxious elitists.

Pretty sure was around when they changed the lobby positions and animations and they reverted it ? haven't played vanilla in a bit, they're always roman for me, also origin is Arabic.

I don't agree, XXV-100 is a BIG milestone. Being XXV-100 should be a proof of mastery, being capable to do the hardest stealth heist with not a single drop of sweat. And you can tell if a XXV is a fake one by his knowledge or his gameplay. If people want to be XXV they need to earn it, and not powerleveled...

Btw, gg to the OP, enjoy your level ! You're right to celebrate ;)

True.
I only managed to get to V-100 with my playtime.

Man its been so long since I achieved that, I remember those days. Also I remember the agony that was tabula rasa.

dont really see the point in leveling infamy past V, since you really dont get anything useful out of it (like extra skillpoints) and reaching XXV-100 is basically a guaranteed way to get yourself kicked from ten times as much public lobbies as you did before. (even if you got it without crimespree and didnt cheat for it, most people just automatically lose respect for you if they see XXV beside your name simply because of how infamously, no pun intended, most people who get it either cheated or cheesed it with crimespree.) and yeah, the fact that you could easily get infamy XXV in under a day if you really were aiming for it, through crimespree, is another problem with seeing it as a "milestone".

if you want to see it as a milestone for yourself, then go ahead. thats completely fine and commendable. but dont try to gatekeep by saying "it should be an achievement that shows you can stealth any heist in the game with no sweat" because thats simply not true. playtime does not directly correlate to being good at the game, countless times have i played with low infamy players that turned out to be more competent and less self-entitled than the max infamy player in the same lobby, no matter if he got it legit or not. some people simply max out infamy for the extra achievements.

i guess it just varies between players. an infamy 5 player could have just the same amount of playtime, game experience, and skill as a max infamy playing since day one. of course not all the time, but its still fairly common from my experience.

Can confirm, had a few pretty bad ♥♥♥♥-ups earlier today while helping some non-infamies stealth in different lobbies despite the amount of hours I've got.

which is to say, that's completely normal. no matter how much experience you have in the game or how skilled you are, that doesn't make anyone immune from making mistakes.

For the longest time I was determined never to go infamous, and just to be an incredibly skilled lvl 100 player. Did finally cave in to the temptation of the (slight) skill point savings.
