A review on every perk deck.
EDIT: HOW THE HELL DID I FORGET ABOUT CROOK WHAT IS WRONG WITH MUH MEMORY ARGH

Before you read this: It's my personal opinion. You may not agree with it, but don't say "u r trash" for not liking it. I never said the reviews are objective, because they aren't. Also, I may or may not have some things wrong and the advice I give may or may not be good advice. Just saying.

Crew Chief: The thing you ran when you booted up the game for the first time. Useful with team play, obviously, however it's outshined by other decks. Average otherwise.

Muscle: Almost every single armor DS build runs it. It gives you health and regenerates it. It's great.

Armorer: It gives you more armor, as if the ICTV wasn't enough. Used by the 1% of players who hate Muscle but want to play DS with armor. I used it as well, and it was quite good.

Rogue: The dodge perk deck. It's used in most of dodge builds. It's amazing, especially when combined with Sneaky ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, Low Blow and akimbo pistols.

Hitman: Like John Wick who came with this deck, it's for professionals...aka not me. That's why I "borrowed" a build from the workshop. When paired with the ICTV and good cover usage you're basically indestructible.

Crook: It's the hybrid perk deck, You can use armor, dodge or both so logically it's the most versatile, right? Right...?

Burglar: The stealth perk deck. Great for...well, stealth. Seriously though, why would people use it in loud? It does have a dodge bonus, but why would you use that when you have other decks?

Infiltrator: The "up close and personal" perk deck. It also has melee bonuses, because there was no melee deck at the time and apparently people wanted it. I think. It's okay tbh.

Sociopath: Not just a melee perk deck, it's THE melee perk deck. It's actually really good...on paper. You can regenerate armor by killing people, so you'd think you'll use armor with it...when it's a melee build.

Gambler: The mass healer build. Who needs FAKs when you have a teammate with Gambler? Probably them, since there's no dodge bonus and you have to be fast when collecting ammo!

Grinder: We all remember what happened right after Golden Grin released. This deck was overpowered as hell, you could literally solo DW and have your health full all the time. Now it's nerfed obviously, but it's still quite good at healing you.

Yakuza: The true stealth build. "Wait, isn't Yakuza really good as a Frenzerker build?" you could ask by looking at the stats. The answer is...probably. However, the movement spped increase makes heists like Car Shop much more bearable.

Ex-Prez: It's good. A really fun concept, too. However, there's one fault with it: You gotta kamikaze your way around until your armor breaks. Then you gotta find cover and receive the health you collected...it's really dangerous.

Maniac: Lotsa people use it and I think I know why. I guess it absorbs some damage because of...math. Besides that, it's a really good team deck. Free damage reduction for kills. Quite nice.

Anarchist: When this came out, everyone used it with Frenzerker. Now it's pretty darn good anyway. Useful when you wanna have high mobility and tacticool guns.

Biker: The safest perk deck. Every kill your crew and you get makes you not die. It makes for a good DPS deck.

Kingpin: The first perk deck designed specifically because OD existed. Replaces your throwable with an adrenaline syringe. As long as your armor doesn't break, you get free health. It's fantastic.

Sicario: Replaces your throwable with smoke grenades. Quite a magic smoke grenade if you can't get shot when you're in it. I mean, look at the cops: they can shoot you through smokes easily. It's nice.

Stoic: I...I don't get it. I just don't get Stoic. I'm not good at using it and i'll probably never be. However, if you can use it and have a good build for it...it's pretty much the best.

Tag Team: Even though the DLC was trash, the perk deck's cool. Works like a co-op version of Grinder, so it's really nice.

Hacker: The one we don't have yet. As I was reading the perk deck stats, I realized something: This deck is good on paper, but average otherwise. a 100 second cooldown is okay when you get 6 seconds back per kill, but it's only limited to 2 times per heist.

tl;dr: all perk decks are good besides burglar in loud and gambler.

Burglar is a evil perk in loud. You might laugh at it...

Until you realize the enemy prioritize you more than they do to him.

Burglar is basically using his own teammates or joker as a shield, laugh while you still can.

I used Sociopath a lot, and this thing is insane.
You are getting back armor and HP all the time and you panic them.

Try using heavy armor, melee build without frenze and binding your melee to mouse1

No, Yakuza isn't really good on a Frenzerker build. Even for its designated synergy Yakuza sucks IMO.

Yakuza's one saving grace is that 10% movement speed boost, but if any other deck granted that boost too, even Burglar, Yakuza would be dead in the water. All it offers is armor recovery (A lot of it, but none of it works when you're being suppressed, unlike Hitman's Tooth & Claw) and that speed boost.

If anything, running Yakuza with a Frenzerker build is the problem. For Yakuza to even work, it requires you to make yourself EASIER to kill, not the other way around. For Frenzerkers, I would recommend they take Anarchist and never look back, as that perk deck has the actual Frenzerker synergy they've been looking for. (unless they're a speedrunner or something)

Oh yeah, aside from getting triggered over any positive things being said about Yakuza, pretty agreeable assessment IMO.

Where did you get things like "every armor build uses Muscle" and "A lot of people use Maniac" and where is Crook?

Stoic is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great and is not even hard to explain, 25% of the damage you receive is taken instantly and the other 75% is taken over time, using the hip flask negates all the damage that is being taken over time and converts it into health.

You mean there are other perk decks than Rogue, Stoic and Burglar?

Damn, I need to expand my horizons.

:steammocking: I rebind my melee key to RMB just for that deck. Shame FBI Files seems a bit bugged with melee kills, I got 500 Katana kills recently while messing around with low level pubs in Normal - Overkill heists, on a Four Stores. FBI Files says nothing ever happened, though :steamsad:

Also can I just say

PEPSIIIIII MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
