Also, none of your builds are worth looking at until you unlocked the 5th infamy to save a couple points in each tree.
I may be in the minority when I say that I consider the average number of downs per mission dictates a player's skill level. Some don't. I do.
Stick with one risk level until you can complete multiple public games without going down. When you accomplish that, move up. If you're having trouble at a risk level then figure what you're doing wrong. Bad at using cover? Get better. Snipers always get you? Learn to duck. Bulldozers always take you out? Learn to kite.
Best way to learn about building a good skillset is to build and test on your own. Go to the forums if you have question about certain skills. Don't blindly follow some nobody's guide.
About you melting.. that happens sometimes. Sometimes I go down twice within the first minute of a heist, sometimes I go down for the first time 5 minutes into the heist.
As far as what you should spend the majority of your time playing, it is whatever you want to. I'm clocking in nearly 1,000 hours and I spend a decent time playing Overkill still. You definitely can do Mayhem/DW only if you want. It all depends on your mood and what you feel like doing. I don't always want to do OD.
If you plan to play DW difficulty, don't aced Combat Medic unless you have crew member whose build centered around health. On the Death Wish difficulty, the base amount of recovered health (without this skill) is 10% instead of 40%. This skill increases this value to 13% of a player's total health.
Forced Friendship basic are not needed either since you do not use any hostage related skill such as Stockholm Syndrome & Hostage Taker.
Your build are sniper, but you seems to be invest more towards pistol (At 13 sp). That 13 sp are better off invest somewhere since most of your sp distribution are geared towards offensive instead of defense, that explain why you are squishy.
I suggest you to watch some video of player in DW & OD & read some guide about it in order to grasp & understand what exactly need to be done. Don't copy their build & style since everybody have their own way of handling it, just watch, read & grasp the situation.
it,s just crazy stupid
it should realy be removed from the game because it,s not between Ovk and D/w it,s harder than deathwish most of the time.
On Overkill you can pretty much run around and not worry about anything, including your build and weapons.
The higher difficulties require more tactical thinking... to the point you get to OD and you just run away from or hide from enemies, killing as few as possible and avoiding aggro.
Frankly I find OD unfun due to this since I like shooting things... that is why I play a shooter game.
DW I find a great mix of needing tactical strategy while still being able to shoot things.
<by "tactical strategy" I mean - use cover, stick together.. so basically map knowledge and teamwork become important>
add me if you want, I play with some good peeps
Anything above that requires some real thought into the build though, and a lot of trial and error. Or at the very least a full crew of people with decent stuff. I loathe meta in games, I think it's a fun-killer to play in a formulaic manner, but sometimes i just have to acknowledge that some stuff is better than others for good reason, especially on MH+.
To answer to your questions..
Unless you feel confident about going for higher difficulties, you should stick to your current difficulty. To build up some confidence I'd suggest you to try few 1 day loud heists on mayham.
For the builds, it's not a complete build unless you unlock full potentials of infamy i.e. infamy 5 (10% less skillpoints to reach higher tier skills) you can also try to play some solo dw or 1d stealth missions since stealth can be easy with new skill trees. Just stick with shinobi sub-tree of ghost and you will be fine..
Gain some confidence and get ready to join the big league..! All the best. 👍👍
I fully agree and disagree. Go ahead and fail at higher difficulties with what has been working and then Google 1D build. The meta is Inspire Aced, Joker and Partner in crime aced, and 9 lives aced. You have to learn what works on your own and tweak it to your style.
