Add emotes and one-liners.
This might've been suggested already, but now that the VR version is available and I'm playing it for non-VR players a emote system would be cool where they could do certain things like clap, dance, etc. Included in this would be the ability to specify from a list of options spoken lines of dialogue. I know that you can hold the use button and say for example: Wick come here, but being able to select something that says, split up or move forward similar to CS GO would be helpful. You could use a little wheel of dialog or just a list of options similar to ARMA. Just an idea and it might already be there, but posting it for posterity.

Emotes probably aren't worth doing, but a basic chatwheel would probably be useful. Not everyone uses voice chat, after all, and not everyone speaks the same language.

Please no. This isn't Overwatch, and emotes would be horrendously underused anyway.

NO emotes they are useless. They require too much work for what they are. Aaaaaand a whole new world of bugs exploits and glitches could open up with them.

I wouldn't mind a chat wheel.

What is this, VRchat?

Also you can't actually see VR players' animations so this wouldn't work.

I don't think having emotes is a good idea. This is a pve game and there wouldn't be many good opportunities for players to use them.

I'm totally down for a chat wheel though. In the meantime, we do have basic voices....

A chatwheel would be useful, but emotes don't really work in this particular game.

You generally have emotes for two purposes: Taunting opponents in a PvP game (not applicable), and communicating in the case of a game that doesn't have typical chat systems (Dark Souls and ecetera). Seeing as neither situation applies I don't see much of a point, especially considering that adding the system would be too much work for this engine. (Not "engine can't handle it", but "the engine means it'd take way more time to make as a system than it should take")

Yeah, i'll nix the emote idea. Sorry I played the VR version the other night and had no real way to communicate other than flailing my hands in the air and I figured as far as emotes it would be things like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEfLh75wh3Q. Not things like what's in Fortnite and VRChat. A chat wheel would be phenomenal. Thanks for the feedback guys.
