Can't take a dump.

I'm at the toilet, trying to do the QTE to "take a dump". I mash A on my controller as fast as I humanly can, and I can only get maybe 3/4 of the way up the "dump bar" (as I'll call it). Spacebar flat out doesn't work if I'm using M/KB controls.

Is something wrong? Or am I missing some upgrade that allows me to do this or something? I've noticed timing seems to be off with various other things, I'm thinking there may be some problem. Tried disabling SLI, that wasn't useful. I've failed some other QTEs (like the Jew-jitsu) where I feel it should have been fine.

Anybody else? Suggestions?

Har har har. Seriously though, it's impossible to do. Am I missing something? Mashing the button as fast as possible doesn't come close to filling the meter.

I'm not sure. I'm using a wireless 360 controller and it's not that bad imo. I don't use my thumb when I need super-rapid-fire, though. Press rapidly with your right index finger, kind of like pressing a button on an arcade machine. You can get a lot faster. #oldschool

I've seen people do it, I can't. There's a few parts with even harder mashing sections (one so far that you HAVE to pass before continuing) and one during a fight, where I simply resided to taking the damage and healing because my thumb was about to fall off. Taking a dump only gives you a throwble turd, which you can find later on anyway.

I've successfully gone twice now on a wired 360 controller. Tighten your arm and tap like you are a woodpecker.

Thanks, I'll try setting up a macro on one of my Logitech input devices. But I'm pretty sure it winds up disabling the keyboard once a controller is detected (which seems necessary to play this ♥♥♥♥ port). So that may not work.

Thanks, but my main concern is making sure this game is working properly. This all just reeks of bad port.

Yeah that was my next suggestion, set up some sort of macro.

I haven't had any issues with the game that would suggest it's a "bad port". It looks amazing and plays/runs great.

Don't let the fact that the "recommended" specs, a 9800GT (a 2008 graphics card), runs the game quite smoothly fool you. This isn't a visually intensive game, and the fact that it "runs great" doesn't mean it's a good port, it just means that it's not a visually intensive game. That's fine - it's perfect in the visuals department as far as I'm concerned as it mirrors the show.

The fact remains that this is a horrendous PC port. That the game has no graphics options to speak of and that it runs at 30FPS aren't really an issue for this particular title - think about the fact that it doesn't even have rebindable keys. To some folks, especially those with disabilities, this game is literally unplayable. It's piss-poor to say the least.

take your index finger nail and thumb nail... and place them together in an OK sign... so the nails are overlapping. Now, rub the A button with your two nails like a maniac... Works like a charm. old school trick.
