You should have asked for help to get it running on your (crappy?) PC.
Instead now, trolling and crack discussion should get you banned.

Cut, not copy a bink32.dll from "Dark Messiah" directory (it's in "bin" folder), place it to "Windows/system32" directory. Tip "Yes" to overwrite request. When copy bink32.dll from "Windows/system32" directory and place it to "bin" folder in your "Dark Messiah" directory. Yes, it sounds strange, but it worked. Hope it'll help someone.
Special check just for you: they work AFTER placing dll in system32 folder too. So nothing was breaked )
On 3 different computers I've had the exact same problem. I can boot the game up, and the framerate will slowly get worse and worse as I play the game, 15 min in and it's gone from a smooth 60+ to 10 or below. When I restart the game the issue resets, and the framerate is fine till it degrades again. All the PCs I've tried it on were way above the recomended specs.
Edit: I also periodically get random crashes.
Certainly, I could go on here. Personally, I find it inacceptable for a company to leave a product in such a shape, but I dare to question that applying some unofficial patch will resolve any bugs of the game.
It's not a question of illegality, it's the question of the strict community rules on this. Technically according to the FAQ and rules there, even a discussion like this could lead to a steam community unreversable permaban if a moderator had a bad day ;)
it looks like its going to and then screen flashes and it just doesnt happen
