90fps cap?
I wasn't able to turn off the cap in the game settings so I could turn down some settings and play at 144fps. Anyone know how to remove this cap? Config file maybe?

Look for MaxFPS=90 in the ini file: BmSystemSettings
Might give trouble with the physics engine though.

I didnt need to change any ini. I selected vsync adaptative and the fps went well above 100fps.

But remember to disable auto update for this game. If the patch come out while your ini is modified, you may have undesired results, so change it back to original before patching it. (it might do the trick if you change the fps settings ingame as well).

Change the cap to 72 and you'll be sitting pretty. 144's a ridiculously impossible number to reach.

Yeah, that's not a good number to be at on a 144 Hz monitor, unless it's G-Sync. You want to be around 72 FPS if you can't sustain 144. Otherwise you're going to run into frequent frame pacing and dropped / double frame issues.

I really think they should just remove the 90fps cap, and instead offer 72, 120, and 144. That would cover everyone.

I play at 143fps on BF4 and its fine. No screen tearing or anything like that. Buttery smooth all day long!

That would be great. I was atleast expecting 120fps cap.

You manage to reach 144fps in normal play in this game, you deserve a medal.

I'll find out if I can the next time I play again sometime this week. I'm pretty sure I can get 120fps though.

143's close enough to 144 that you're not going to notice weird frame timing issues. But 90-100's half way between 144 and 72. Kind of the worst-case scenario, with every 3rd frame dropped (unless you turn VSYNC off) :)

That didn't age well

144's still not a practical framerate and never will be.
