Monster Spawn Events
In Warlock 1 monster lairs will randomly spawn during your game in areas that you previously cleared. Does this also happen in Warlock 2?

Yes. Less often I think, but I might be imagining. They don't spawn often enough imo

You can control how often they spawn. I seriously doubt if you turned it to max you'll be thinking it's not enough lol

Is that setting for how often lairs appear, or how often stuff pops from lairs that already exist?

I "think" it's how many lairs appear. From what I've seen playing the Naga campaign with different settings, I'll get more or less fountains spawning depending on the setting. And since they spawn with the same code as the normal random monsters it's safe to say they would be affected as well.

It does not appear to affect how often lairs spawn or how many things spawn from them. From what I can tell.

Naga Expansion is horrible, it is more of a chore then a challenge adding the fun factor since the A.I does nothing in the water.

As for monster spawning, having less monsters spawn might help the A.I move throughout the worlds better I am thinking? Or maybe increasing the monster spawn so they can level up more thus making them more powerful and to earn gold etc. Maybe I'll have to test that sometime

Less monsters = Stronger AI factions

The AI simply doesn't know how to handle the increased spawns.

I'll have to try a game with 1/5 monster spawn and see how things move along.... I am thinking the A.I may give you a different play experience and after all this is a game about you vs the A.I's not the monster spawns. Monster spawns should be a slight bonus of exp, gold, mana but the real threat should be the A.I hopefully this will help the A.I move through Elemental,Lava,Dremnar worlds and perhaps even colonize them along with reaching the final big shard forgot the name.

I recall a old game I played some time ago it was funny seeing the Leader from the Lava World enter the Elven world or maybe it was the dead world can't remember and wrecking havoc but I think it might of died eventually funny when a.i and u try to fight it while looking to fight each other as well.

Which is a general problem in most 4x games
