Deleted save files - how to get them working again?

Hi all,
I was playing on my file recently, as usual, when the game crashed and my computer restarted. It has never happened before, and when I went back into the game, none of my save files were showing up. I checked in My Documents/My Games/Alice Madness Returns/AliceGame/CheckPoint where it looks like the save files are stored, but they just weren't showing up in game.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but still nothing is showing up. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there another folder where the save files are stored? Is there any possible way to transfer my save files back into the game without starting again? Thanks so much for your help, this is very frustrating!

My main problem at the moment seems to be that the save file destination is not where I thought it was. I'm running Windows 7, if that makes a difference. If anyone could give me the correct destination to put my save folders into it would be greatly appreciated!

The same thing happened to me. My GPU crashed and my PC restarted. Game isn't detecting my save files even though they're in the documents folder. Did you find a fix?

Update: for anyone needing help, I fixed my problem. The save files were showing in the documents folder, but not in game.

I then noticed that the "Profile List" SAV file did not show my profile name. I tried editing it but it made the game crash when started.

So what you have to do is create a new profile with your old profile name. This will make the game sync with the files in your documents folder.

Hey! I don't understand how you did it, I just lost my save now and it looks like the save it's on the documents folder like you said :0
I don't know if I should move it and place it on the game folder? bc I did what you said but nothing happened:(

Like I said, I made a new profile with the name of the old one and it all synced since it detected the profile folder on "My Documents".

Do not move the save files from the documents folder, that's where the game saves to and it is its default location and where it should be.

Are you saying you created a new profile with the exact same name as the old one and it didn't sync? Because if that's the case, I really don't know... it's what I did and it worked for me :(

Try to dl 100% save on nexus mod. You only put the chekpoint folder in userpc,document,mygames,alicemadness,alicegame (accept remplace) and all is good, i just do this 5 minutes ago.
