I would also like a discount. Maybe they can send a code to our emails if we own the switch version so we'd get like 50% off. I think many people would be happy if this happened. Unfortunately this probably wont happen cuz this is japan and all.

ok so i just remember:
if you buy SMTVV on your Switch and you have SMTV save file on your Switch you could transfer 3 of your best demon from SMTV to SMTVV

however there's no discount for your SMTVV Switch version but still you are able to transfer your 3 demon with 999 stats figment slash or whatever build still better deal and additional items from which ending you got from SMT V

Even worse, content being sold to us as new story content now was probably cut from the initial SMT V with the intention already back then to sell a 'complete' edition later down the line.

You could just sell your switch copy as long as it's a physical copy of the game. I don't think they will give any discount for anybody who already owns the original Shin Megami Tensei V unfortunately.
