Custom Overwatch model
Hey guys! I want an SFM model of an Overwatch OC I made, but since I don't have the money for a commission I decided I want to try making it myself. Does anyone have any advice on how I can do so?

Blender is free and is also available on Steam, and has a nice Source engine DMX/SMD(/VTA) export tool, called the Blender Source Tools. For those reasons, Blender is a very popular modelling choice for the Source engine (in general, not only for Source Filmmaker).

Here is a link to Blender itself (on Steam):
http://store.steampowered.com/app/365670/Blender/ And here's a very in-depth guide on getting models from Blender to Source Filmmaker:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=245723825 Note that by "very in-depth", I mean so in-depth that the majority of the guide will probably be irrelevant, due to covering things that you probably won't have to know at the time (but still covering other things that you'll want to know).

But as for the modelling itself, you can try finding rips of existing models to use as a base, but if you don't find something that suits your needs 100%, you may have to look up tutorials on either editing models in Blender, or making new models from scratch in Blender.

I already have Blender, I've just been having issues making complex models in it. Another issue I have is the actual porting from Blender itself, as i tried it with one of my more simple models (using a tutorial) and eventually gave up because i couldn't get it. Plus I'm not sure how to get a rip into Blender.

Fuse no longer supports SFM porting, and i refuse to jump through all the hoops they put up just to get my model ported.
I Need A Overwatch OC Too.

I'm sorry, but i was just asking about how to make my own OC. I'm afraid I'm not making anyone else's OCs
