Why then is the combat so involved, and the web slinging so simplistic?
You seem to be saying, it’s a Spider-Man game, it’s meant to be easy… but the fighting in this game isn’t simplistic.
I would’ve preferred a more robust web slinging mechanic, and a fighting system that isn’t so busy.
I either don't like running up the wall... I never see this in any movie or cartoon.
It looks a bit stupid how spidey just starts levitating for a second and how the most basic laws of physics stop applying to him before the web actually attaches itself to something.
I was never a big fan of the way he does air combat either, would've been nice to have some webbing to make it look less Devil May Cry magic.
Bad? No. But completely lacks any need for skill, and really doesn't reward you for doing it well. I couldn't care less what reviewers say, as I have my own brain. Plus most video game reviewers are shills these days. *Cough* Dean Takahashi *Cough*
