Necromorphs vs. Xenomorphs | Who would win?

A friend of mine who is a giant Aliens fan says that Xenomorphs would win in a fight against Necromorphs because the Xenomorphs have superior speed, agility, intelligence, armor, and acid blood. However, I say that the Necromorphs would win because the Marker signal reanimates dead flesh, and I believe that even dead Xenos would be resurrected, acid blood or not. In addition, we have no way of knowing how the Marker signal would affect Xenomorphs.

I want to go ahead and forget the whole "Brother Moon" bullcrap that Dead Space 3 introduced and just stick to basic Dead Space facts. So go ahead and bring out the big guns -- who do you think would win in a battle, Necromorph or Xenomorph?

Necromorphes would eat Xenomorphes for breakfast. They would assimilate them :)

Just saying why would the necromorphs would want to attack the xenomorphs, since the necromorphs attack and eat only dead lifeforms. anyway if there were to fight, than I would say that the xenomorph has an advantage over the necromorph because of it acid blood. This substance would obviously harm the necromorphs muscle and flesh. But I guess it depends on the type of necromorophs vs the type of xenomorph (for example: the alien queen vs the hive mind...obviously the hive mind would beat the xeno-queen). Also the specialties of the breed impacts the fighting style and overall strength. I personally think that, between a typical xenomorph drone and a typical necomorph slasher... the xeno-drone would win.

Necromorphs attack all non-infected, living things. True, acid blood would dissolve necromorphs, bit the necromorphs wouldn't feel pain and would just continue attacking. The reason the acid blood is effective on humans is because it can cause death by blood loss and shock, but unless it could dissolve a necromorph completely, the necromorph wouldn't care.

When I think of Dead Space, I just think of the first one. By DS2, I felt the whole DS universe got confusing. With that said, in DS1, the necromorphs were more like zombies. Zombies with huge slashers, etc, who were controlled by the Hive Mind via the Maker. Without the Maker, the necromophs had no control. The xenomorph on the other hand, is naturally smart and cunning. It can survive on it's own, without the need of the Queen.

As to who would win, I'd say it be a fair fight. 50/50. Besides, why would they attack each other? If a necro attacks a xeno, won't they both lose in the process. The necro would be damaged by the xeno's attacks/acid blood would disolve limbs. And when a xeno converts, what changes? It's just a xeno zombie with acid blood; which the xeno, from what I recall, doesn't get hurt by. As for necros, they do have more variety. So this battle might end up being a strategic fight between the Hive Mind and Xeno Queen.

i would say the xenos would win because of these 3 things... 1. they act like hunters. they jump in and attack. necros do jump out, but are ♥♥♥♥ at moving. 2. their heads have armour and so do their bodies. necros have spots that can shoot off limbs. not really helpful. 3. special xenos can spit, some xenos can pounce. some xenos can ride like a jockey would. this is a big skill tree for the xenos. the necromorphs can JUST grapple if they are lucky........

for the record, i think xenos would win...! YAY XENOS!

I think the Xenomorphs would win, I am a huge fan of each series, and believe that the Xeno's are stronger, faster and are smart enough to get by Necromorphs, whom simply search and destroy. Though the variety of Necromorph bodes well in their favor. Especially the Brute, which would be able to dish out twice the strength of a Xeno if not more. The Armor in the Xenomorphs isn't as strong as people are making out though. They can be cut into, and the Necromorphs have bone blades already on them. So who would win? Both sides have victories? I may believe Xeno's would win, but that's in a fair fight. Xeno's have not been known to travel in large packs. the movie AvP aside(Ew). If the Necromorphs outnumbered the Xenomorphs, they would win. A set of Brutes vs a set of Xenomorphs. Brutes would win. In a fair fight? A Xenomorph would win. But that's just my opinion =)

Isac clark isn't dead so why are necromorphs trying to kill him? Necromorphs kill anything so that another type of necromorph can reanimate the dead body (into another necromorph) and obtain enough material for convergence. They never ate them...

the necromorphs can still attack prey even if it is alive. the aim of this is to eventually kill the prey...then they then reanimate it.

necros dont kill them to get another to, the Infector kills them by theirselves aswell
