[Fixed] How to Fix Dead Space Mouse Lag - Solution
It's the Steam summer sale again so I'm guessing a LOT of new Dead Space players will be hitting a wall with the mouse lag problem. Here's the video to fix that:

NOTE: If you have an ATI card, just enable Vsync on your ATI control panel. It's the same thing.

Bumping because I've seen two thread already about "slow mouse" and "mouse input problems."

Really, someone should sticky this. Or EA should patch that problem out.

Yes, yes, that's good for you and me but there will always be newbie players. Or ones who have lived in a cave and haven't yet learned about the wonders of googling. Those will invariably come to this forums and ask about their problems.

Good for you. Before I stumbled on this fix, the game was unplayable for me. :csgox:

You got a fix for the random crashes that keep me from playing more than 5 minutes at a time.

Maybe you've set your in-game and the video card control panel settings way too high?

Try this:

Make sure to read the description box. If you've an ATI card don't worry; the terms are the same.

If you meant the video and if you mean "thanks" then you're welcome; very glad to help out a fellow gamer!

If only we could get this stickied we could probably prevent about 20 new threads every month in this forum.

Actually, who am I kidding. No one reads the stickies anyways...

How do i do that if i have AMD Catalyst? I tried to open deadspace.exe in the 3d settings and tried and tried to find any options at all about v-sync but i couldnt. Any clues?

Ive always assumed the lagginess was just trhe way the game was made, it wasn't bad, but after playing 2 & 3 it felt so clunky, tried the disabling V-synch and running it via the Nvidia panel, its like playing an entirely new game now.
