Most fun roleplaying background at this point?

So what everyone enjoy background roleplaying at this point? I wasn't talk about skill or anything like that, but actually roleplaying on based of background you choice?

Long Hauler. Something just fun about being an independent space trucker in this setting.

I can understand that Ronin and Bounty Hunter had fun gameplay roleplaying, it's like game was design for them at least, but I did try long hauler roleplaying, but it's so limited, only thing you can do is mission board, then fast travel (not by choice, you click here to there if not first time, it's already auto fast travel) and set up outpost and product item and then roleplaying long hauler, I feel not fun doing that, it's just missing in design of that gameplay. There is no talk or making deal with NPC about travel or carry cargo or anything like that. And fast travel, that is all there is. A then B, but nothing in journey, so they need to improve long hauler gameplay, :(

Ronin and Bounty Hunter do had gameplay of Journey, travel, search, shoot up, loot, so go on, more or less, I think

I don't know, this is what I find so far.

Most quest flavor those background like Ronin, Bounty Hunter, Beast hunter, Explorer, Soldier, but all other background don't had strong gameplay factor in the game, it's just too limited or not there for other background role, come to think of it.

Something missing in gameplay for all other type background, I assumed?

Anyone wish to correct me?

Way back last year... hah! my first play thru was a Ted Lasso character with the Diplomat background. He experienced about 90% of the game including getting to level 100 and I don't regret one bit.

For the past 6 months or so I too play the Bounty Hunter and I also skip the main story entirely.

Agree, it give the most backstory option to write for me. I was a huge fan of Cyber Runner but don’t like it that it comes with thievery. I never invest a point in there and never steal. So, I changed it to Ronin and created a huge backstory for my character. If file-not-found would come with just 3 skill points I would pick this. I like it to have pure freedom inclusive create my own personally Background(class).

Maybe I will try it again with file-not-found, but I really dislike the starting skill and don’t have a reason why my character start with them. This gives me a huge write blockade.

I'm not sure I'm remembering this right but Beast Hunter. Because I like beating up terrormorphs. And other assorted wildlife on planets.

I wouldn't surprised that they make and design for that background, and suspicious, at least xbox, Bounty Hunter is popular choice in Xbox maybe, is why they create those quest in paid mod.

I'm not sure they would do that for all other background role quest.

Im talking about the free trackers alliance quest.

Im pretty sure they did that because the trackers alliance are bounty hunters. So a bounty hunter background just fits.

I always overlooked the ronin trait because melee was so undertuned in the game, but with the new weapon damage overhaul its definitely tempting.
