Agreed, it's always frustrating when people who have no clue about programming just make judgement calls about what is and isn't easily feasible for any given type of game.
Sometimes it doesn't matter how big or good a team is. More features, especially net code where you have to deal with synchronisazion, does cost more resources (both time and money).
And putting in multiplayer after the fact is even more difficult.
I do indeed see that.
However, it would be fun to show off your spacecraft, visit other planets, learn about new creatures, gather minerals, and just hang out with your friends.
I've briefly become aware of its existence through Discord, but I haven't followed the development.
Though I can't say I'm surprised it's not done yet.^^
Could you explain how having the option to play multiplayer in a game will make it "worse" overall?
