I don't see the big problem here... 2 people cannot use the same Steam library at the same time, the Deck never changed this. If 2 people want to play a game at the same time then they need to own

The game in question is Minecraft bedrock edition installed and running via the bedrock launcher from the Discovery store. I added it as a non steam game afterwards and
manually close it out using the "x" in the upper right corner. This problem is really not a Minecraft problem, since I get this with other games running launchers that can only be closed by hitting the "x
