Best Controller?

Hi, I’d like to know what is the best bluetooth controller with gyro and the same kind of four back triggers (same as deck) fully compatible with the deck.

The Steam Controller is a bluetooth controller with gyro, but has only two grip triggers. It also has two trackpads (unfortunately, they function as the d-pad and right stick, and they're noticeably lower resolution than the trackpads on the steam deck)

what’s the best to use it on deck ?

Steam Controller has "only" 2 back grips but my solution would be binding for both grippers:
Press and Long Press

Yeah, I know, I’ve got two of them, but I don’t like it much…the shape, the sticks…not bad but was wondering if there are better options, under 100€

PS4 controller is the best candidate: symmetric layout, gyro, (single) trackpad, well supported. But you don't get the back buttons.

Back buttons can be added as an extra device.
I do not know how Steam Client & Deck sees that.

Oh, I did not know it was a thing..adding back buttons.. can’t picture how..i’ll google it..

The DualSense has outstanding gyro via Bluetooth (prolly due to it being BT5 native); the one in the DS4 is a tad jerky and the one in the SC has less "resolution" when paired via Bluetooth than with its RF receiver, as well as the trackpads.

Both the DS4 and SC have amazing resolution and responsiveness when connected via cable, though.

Might be your best option if you are trying to replicate the Deck in a smaller form factor (outside of the Steam Controller):

Yeah 8bitnpros are good, got a sn pro + and the other snpro with two back grips, but the software is (was, haven’t updated the controller since ouch) lame. You can’t assign what you want to back grips.

My point is to keep my controller configuration from the deck as controller to a wide screen set up with a controller with the same buttons config, but i guess it’s asking a lot.
