So if you see this pattern, you then proceed to use the two to kill more and etc. In short, it gets a little grindy here but it can provide a lot of materials you need. :D
Right now the one I've found the least of is the desert emeralds but I've already found probably 5 and I've only beat the jungle titan so far. I think I've got around 12 of the sea and jungle emeralds.
I do highly recommend looking into the mob spawning guide, the spawning system is weird in this game in my opinion.

Here's my tldr from the guide:
*The game splits the map into 16x16 areas.
*Around every 15 minutes each area has a chance to spawn monsters depending on the tiles in that area.
*Generally only 14 spawning tiles maximize the chance of that monster spawning.
