Proper 21:9 support was added - and it wasn’t as easy as you might have thought.

I found this article to be quite interesting. It breaks the myth that 21:9 can be added in 15 minutes.

They actually had to replay the entire game and re-work some of the art to make this work.

Definitely an eye opener.

Well, 21:9 is supported and all cutscenes in this game are in engine so I would say yes, and if anything there will be a pillarbox fix day one.

Only 21:9, arbitrary aspect ratio support sounds like it's not a thing.

well it is because of the no cut camera system that messed up with 21:9

this is probably why there is no FOV slider

That they went to the effort to fix this up speaks volumes. True quality from developers who care about quality.

Unlike big companies like *cough* Bethesda.

yup this is why some games won't support UW or do it poorly. Cause it's tough and adds more work. But apparently enough ppl own UW for them to do it.

It is a lot more affordable now. I've got a 3440x1440p ultrawide monitor.

Any triple A games in 2022 should support 21:9 ultrawide

It is easy, if you just don't do it only 16:9 from the start
