Horrible optimization

So is it Denuvo thats causing this to be super high in GPU usage?

I set to 1080p low and its giving me 99% GPU usage. Holy this game is not optimized :(

Running fine for me on 1080p ultra i get stable 60 fps

Ryzen 5 1600 and gtx 1080 16gb ram

i refunded for the same reason on a 1660ti 6gb Overclocked on high 1080p it would drop often to 40fps my roomates 5700xt also dropped to 40fps at their res of 1440p both are not old gpus and should be more than capable of 1080p or 1440p respectively, We shall wait for optimisation patches and maybe a sale in a year if your game can not run on modern hardware or mid range gpus your game is not well optimised no one should need a 1200cad 3080 to get 1080p.

i refunded for the same reason on a 1660ti 6gb Overclocked on high 1080p it would drop often to 40fps my roomates 5700xt also dropped to 40fps at their res of 1440p both are not old gpus and should be more than capable of 1080p or 1440p respectively, We shall wait for optimisation patches and maybe a sale in a year if your game can not run on modern hardware or mid range gpus your game is not well optimised no one should need a 1200cad 3080 to get 1080p.

what about the CPU?
you know most games these days require a good CPU..
1660 is a OK card but i am guessing you run a budget PC and you prob have some 4c/4t CPU..

Ryzen 2600x in my rig and a ryzen 1800x in my roomates rig it was a gpu bottleneck considering the 99 percent gpu use and the 1660ti is more than ok its not even a few years old. And dying light 2 GRID Legends AC Valhalla and more all run great 1 080p 60 in grid legends case i can do 1440p 60 etc. My roomates 5700xt does even more normally but the quarry basically said nah gonna not run well on either gpu we also both have 16gb of 3400mhz ram and NVME drives.

Yes, it's Denuvo. The thing that runs periodically on your CPU, that's putting load on your GPU :)

You have something wrong then. Plays perfectly fine for me at 4K with an 8700k and 3080

Disable windows full screen optimization on the actual exe file, disable any scaling crap if there is any selected and run in full screen.

you should easily get at least 60fps maxed out @ 4k with that.

I'm on a much worse PC and I get 4K60 (Though I choose to play at native 1440p).
I'm running a 3080 and a 5800x.

That is what I am running it on minus the dumb overclock on what I assume is your P cores and a silly clock on your GPU core . At 2560x1440 everything on Epic I never fell lower than 90 fps and that was during the loading. I was mostly around 144 for the entire game.

Why are people upset at high usage that is what you bought it for unless your temps are crazy that is desirable. High usage and low performance is a complaint worth making.

On a 1660ti overclocked ASUS my temps hit 80c which only one other game can do that is metro exodus at high 1440p 60 and i am constantly at 30 to 40fps on high even dropping shadows to medium does not help my fps much. The Game is horridly optimized. Even my roomate on a 5700xt at their native res of 1440p high can not hold 60fps either so even a better gpu can not hold 60fps. No game should require a 3080 for 1440p 60 or 1080p 60 more so when a 3080 is 1200cad and a 3070 is 800cad. Most people own 400 to 500cad cards like the 1660ti or 3050 since the 2060 and 3060 are now overpriced at 600cad even without this shortage and then you have people running 1650 supers which is a 200cad gpu that should be able to do 60fps low but i have heard even a 1650 super can not get stable on low settings this tells me this game is HORRIDLY optimized if only a 3080 can brute force the fps.

The ASUS TUF 3080 never get passed 60c under full load , and the fans are barely audible at all. It’s an awesome card for this game.
Ofc I maintain 60fps max settings @4k as well.
