Bad Textures

I read often this game has great graphics, it seems i play a different game.. the world textures are so low and bad it's a joke, the only good looking are the human heads.
I play on ULTRA but ray tracing OFF.

Something is wrong with your settings or computer setup. Callisto Protocol for all its faults is great looking game. Visual spectacle comes at steep hardware price but SDS artists are definitely telented. Just a shame rest of the game is so mediocre and not fun to play.

DX11 made the game look like playdoh to me, as well as ran like ♥♥♥♥. if you're on dx11, put it back on dx12

1 dectection with like 30 undetections sounds like a false positive to me...

Dude, you must have a streaming textures problem, it is known in UE4 that is to say that the textures do not load completely, on my side I have no problem on this side, the textures are beautiful and very detailed in DX12 on SSD.

How much vram do you have, DX12 tends to block high resolution textures when VRAM is full.

16GB, graphic card 8GB. Didn't know dx12 can block high resoultion textures

Dude, you must have a streaming textures problem, it is known in UE4 that is to say that the textures do not load completely, on my side I have no problem on this side, the textures are beautiful and very detailed in DX12 on SSD.

Indeed, I have a little latency when I load the game for the first time. But once loaded correctly, the textures are superb and the game is very detailed. Or some people have problems with DirectX11. I don't know? Personally, I play with DX12 and everything is perfect for the moment.

I guess especially with the textures, you might have a VRAM issue. Not to say UE4 is prone to that kind of problem. But with enough VRAM (8 gigs) You should get relatively fast texture loading. It's by no means perfect, and you might have to wait a couple of seconds to get clear textures. I didn't notice any texture "pop up" after the initial loading screen + seconds.

Personally, I play with an 3090 (with 24Go) in 5120x1440 and I have a little latency at the very beginning of the game launch. After about 10 seconds, everything is loaded and it doesn't move anymore.

After the patch that was supposed to "fix" stuttering game looked horrible for me until I swapped to DX11. After I swapped to it textures were fine again.

Hope they patch this soon, textures don't seem to load in even though I have the game on my m.2 SSD.
