Heroes not showing their skill in Upgrade book, facepalm

Just yet another oversight. What does this hero do?
Oh let's boot the game to see.
Let's boot the game 5 more times to see.
The oversight of simple things like that, absolutely dismal.
The people who worked on that aspect should honestly be ashamed they were so lazy that clicking a hero doesn't open up that hero with the same code used to open traps, then upgrade and see their description/skins/etc.

Robot Entertainment, I bought OMD1 and then again on xbox, and OMD2 and all DLC, and then you make this turd. You aren't even remotely close to being as skilled or "gamer" as you once were. Shame on the lot of you. Please close shop and issue refunds to all who purchased this game. Shame on you. Shame on you all for selling this half baked turd.

Nevermind, won't be long and the regular shills will be along to tell us to 'git gud' and 'it's fine' and 'it's a feature'.

I've actually left a negative review and uninstalled just now. I'd rather legitimately go back and play some more OMD2. At least that amazing game, one of the best games ever made imho, has 3D coins and 3D skulls, not sprites like this dingle berry of a turd. Plus the earth elementals in that game look like something a toddler didn't vomit up.

Robot Entertainment have successfully ensured I'll never buy another game they make.

how do you change heros, if you want to play someone different? of do you have to complete the campaigns first? I beat the main campaign and have other heros unlocked, but im doing the DLC and want to use someone else other than the main guy, but i dont see where to switch him....

No matter what i do, picking them in the book, it always makes me Max... do i have to beat the entire Steps DLC before i can go back to maps and use any hero i want. Im on the 4th map and it wont let me change my hero to anypone. I 5 skulled the first 3 maps and it wont let me go back and play those with other heros as well.. am I doing something wrong? I go to the heros, click okay under them... it shows there avatar in the picture on the heros tab.. but when i go in game.. its Max....

Go to the Spellbook, the last tab is the Heroes window were you can select one you want (just click on the portrait) and you can unlock some more (really ugly) costumes as well.

I am doing this, but then when i load the map, im still Max and have to use his double jump.... no matter who i pick in the spell book... again... do you have to complete the DLC before you can be someone else... have not tried the dlc yet, but I assume the dlc campaign is story locked to maximilian until you beat it. Base Game campaign lets you swtich freely between the 2 new characters, gaberiella, max, cygnus, and new elf dude at will once you beat the campaign. Until then you are story locked in those too
