Greenhouse and winter

Does the greenhouse need heating in winter? I just sowed some seeds and they are still covered in snow.

i don't think its optimized yet I'm pretty sure its still under development because I can't grow crops in the winter. should be able to buy any seed any time so you can use the greenhouse in the winter.

I know that people still grow food in winter as there are winter vegetables so I hope that seeds do make an appearance as well as a greenhouse heater. So all I've been doing is looting bins and adding a bit more stuff to my ranch. Not really much to do during winter, so it seems.

No it doesn't need heating, the snow showing on the inside is just a graphical glitch, you will find the same thing inside the coops/barns and it's on the list for a fix.

The greenhouse works fine, you can only buy the seeds in season but you can plant them in the greenhouse no matter what season it is.

Well, I put in 1 plot and it was covered in snow, then all of the seeds disappeared.

I have had some issues with the greenhouse plants not growing at the same speed and some disappearing altogether. My carrots grew perfectly the first time, but on the second planting 3 of the 6 plants disappeared.

Are you remembering to water them? And have you checked for weeds?

The snow has absolutely zero effect, it's purely a graphical glitch.

im in autum now and wondering will any seeds at all be sold in winter? and if so can i plant them outside or only in greenhouses

There are no winter crops added to the game yet so best to buy some seeds from other seasons to use in the greenhouses during winter,
