Rugal will be a normal character in KOF XV, the Omega version is for the Boss challenge only.

"Normal" Rugal is blonde and has brighter clothes. It's Omega (with white hair) by default, there's no "normal" one in XV. The one that wears that stupid getup in the Boss Challenge is merely Omega with a stupid getup and buffed AI that punishes you for pressing any buttons.

Besides, "normal" Rugal plays/controls quite a bit differently than Omega, and we can clearly see that it's Omega in the trailer exactly, as "normal" Rugal doesn't do nearly half of what Omega does (and even MORE now) and he has different animations on DM/SDM & specials.

As a mexican and oldschool KOF fan, the O.Rugal thing is just a meme here (funny cultural thing). Is just because some people choose O.Rugal (boss) as part of the team which is kind of unfair (KOF02 plus). The OP image is funny to me, and specially how some people think this is serious xD
