idk what Vulkan even is (heard of it, but don't know it), but I was playing in 3DTV and it looks fantastic (but I had to turn it off cuz it seriously overheats my rig)

you can force DX11 mode then use DXVK to convert the DX11 to Vulkan

If you want to try something with VULKEN...play HADES. I played the game last year and played in VULKEN with it. I do not think this game supports VULKEN unless someone makes a mod for it to do it.

Game does not support Vulken natively.
If you knew this already why'd you make a thread? LMGTFY next time.
Because the game is a unoptimise mess and Vulkan actually helps with performance so i was wondering anyone else using vulkan to see what performance they get

i dont have Hades but i been using DXVK on almost every DX game and it really helps. Batman Arkham knight vanilla no mods its perfectly fine now using Vulkan. God of War another title that doesnt like AMD runs great using Vulkan. Assassin's Creed origins Odyssey the frame times are much better and more consistent.

I've read a lot of people say that this game has bad performance. But I been @ 120 fps with 0 fps drops for like 10 hours of game play. I don't know why everyone has old PC's expecting things to be flawless.

Most "problems" have been patched already.

But we also have people who are too proud to admit that their PC is configured incorrectly or underperfoming, so they blame the game instead. All while showing videos that bash the game's performance for views.

"Bad optimization" is slang for "I have terrible PC and no, I won't upgrade for next 10 years, now help me get this game to work on windows 7/XP" rather often nowadays.

Digital Foundry was testing this game on a RTX 3090 and the game was stuttering and didnt maintain a appropriate FPS so if a 3090 is giving issues then its bad optimization not old hardware

They were already fixed on Epic, before the game was released on Steam.

Digital Nitpick Foundry is exactly the type of channel that overdramatizes things, and their video with those EVIL STUTTERZZZZZZ you barely notice is from when the game was first released on Epic.

there have been no changes and no fixes for the stuttering and no patches to address the other issues. so why is square enix telling people a bugged game that will never get fix that its ok to charge 70+usd
