First half of this game is a 10/10 horror game MASTERCLASS.

Second half is 2-3/10 "my furst hororr gaeme :)"

There's a way to play the base game, instead of the directors cut.

Wow, just wow. This game is a true hidden gem. Very unsettling. The atmosphere is thick and dark, There Is a constant feeling of dread, I could barely continue the game in some moments, especially when I imagined how I would feel in such a situation, being stuck on that island with just a little lantern while something unspeakable would start to stalk me.

The developer did an incredible job. The game can be compared to The Windows are Gone or Mothered. Pixel graphic games with that specific atmosphere that is hitting the right tone to truly terrify me. I love this piece of art.

EDIT: unfortunately I have to edit my review. Only the first 30 minutes of the game are amazing. The entire rest is a frustrating mess and lacks the atmosphere of the beginning. Too bad. It started off so well. Now I don't even feel like getting this to 100 percent.
