Nightreign Countdown
Hey-o everyone, look what's back.

Nightreign's release date just got announced, and regardless of my opinions on it, I thought it'd be nice to start a daily countdown like I did for the DLC. (edit: actually Alby started it if I remember correctly)

So, good morning everyone. Today is Thursday, February 27th, 2025. There are 92 days remaining until Nightreign releases. That's 2208 hours, 132,480 minutes, or 7,948,800 seconds.

Didn't realize Moth is such a sleepyhead. He's even worse than me.

Initial video: "eepy sleepy", cute kitty, decently soothing voice.

Recommendation at the end of it: "You chose Nutsack"

Regardless of if this thread gets nuked/locked, I’m doing a nightreign giveaway. Just out of the spirit of this awesome community. Cheers moth for not letting the man keep you down.
Same same, but same here.

So, good morning everyone. Today is Thursday, February 28th, 2025. There are 91 days remaining until Nightreign releases. That's 2184 hours, 131,040 minutes, or 7,862,400 seconds.

Mfs be complaining about solo Nightreign getting no downscaling, and I'm over here like: https://youtu.be/R610XnTVwIo?feature=shared

I think Elden Ring is a good representation of humanity. It's a reflection of the ultimate choices one can receive in this life. Every encounter is a challenge and every challenge may lead to suffering, which in a way is a kind of ecstasy to experience. Having pain all the time makes us terribly and dreadfully grateful for every moment we have received in this life.

Pure cope. Being bad at Elden Ring is not suffering.
Holy the thread is back, looks like I noticed early.

What's your opinion on Garfield Kart?
Furious Racing is better than the original but we need a third game that makes driving smoother.
Agreeable opinion.
I hope Nightreign will be better than the poorly made Erdtree. I was so disapointed with that expansion. Who comes on the stupid idea to break all quest if you pass a certain point of the map? Who comes to the stupid idea to hide side quests character harder to get too than the main boss and then locks you out of all the side characters quest because they all die. Seriously, who made that expansion, there should be consequences for making something so bad. Before starting Erdtree you really need to spoiler yourself and read a whole walktrough if you dont want to miss 90% of content. For me that whole expansion was just running aimlessly around, not having any target of what exactly i am even in the shadowlands for, not like its relevant for becoming the elden lord or that there is some kind of big evil you need to stop, nothing is there to even be there for to begin with. So running aimlessly trough a game world and only encountering already death npcs like St.Trina, seriously??? Wtf did they think people gonna do? Its an open world, they gonna explore, so why is the access to the main boss so easy, and the side quests npc hidden in some deep dark corners of the map you can miss 100 times if you do not find that one access of a tunnel to a whole giant part of a map. Just bad.

SotE had the more fun bosses imo. You could really tell that the devs really tried to innovate with the boss fights, and it was appreciated. Also some of the areas were breathtakingly well done. Aesthetics and layout considered, they did a good job.

This is why I'm sad there is no character costumization in nightreign.

I don't know, I didn't read guides for the first couple of playthroughs, and I did just fine. As for the purpose of being there: should've listened to what Leda recruited you for: Follow Miquella's footsteps. And yeah, it is something evil that you are opposing. Also, why would that DLC have anything to do with you becoming Elden Lord? Consider that most people already ARE Elden Lord (even though in my opinion the DLC plays before you become Elden Lord because of the way Miquella adresses you in the final fight). Expansions for Dark Souls 3 also have zero influence on the main game. They expand on the lore, which is what SotE does, too.

Anyways, this thread is about Nightreign, and I really look forward to the game. I'm quite curious how it's goint to utlimately play out.
