Movie adaptations of video games suck donkey balls always, might as well make it as trashy as possible so there could at least be some small redeeming cult factor ("it's so bad it's good!") instead of the 100% generic, same-y Hollywood slop we'd be getting otherwise that's exactly like all the other movies but with Elden Ring CGI.
