What is your main build?

Just curious as to what builds everyone is using and what the concept is behind it. Might be good for ideas and tips.

Mine is a strength / recovery build. So blasphemous blade and fingerprint shield in combination with Talisman of Dread (14% boost to magma), Carian Filigreed Crest (lower FP cost for skills), Shard of Alexander (boost attack power of skills) and Fire Scorpion charm (boosts fire attack). Also use Mellania's great rune for the Bloodborne style health regain. Lastly I have a full set of Rakshasa armour for the damage boost.

So certain items that boost attack also compromise defence but because of the health regen I can trade and as long as I stay offensive I can keep my health topped up. It's a fun build, definitely changes the way you fight.

I like Square off, it looks very cool.

Make an educated guess about the armor set I'm wearing.

I have 4 builds :
- 200 Str/int PvE
- 150 Str/Fai PvP
- 150 Dex PvP
- 150 Str/Eso PvP (bleed, poison build)

I mainly use strength/faith. Stats : 60 vigor / 54 Str / 20 Faith / 15 Int (for radahnn lord)
For stats :
- 60 Vigor is optimal.
- 54 Strengh is enough cause, i have 80 when i take my weapon with 2 hands.
- Other stats are here for minimal stats for weapon

- I have 25 weapons (midra, claymore x3 with 3 différent AoW, fire knight, radhann, great katana, etc etc) for switch when i need in PvP and PvE
- Same for talismans, i run 25 différents talisman for switch and adapt with my weapon
- I use many AoW too : Piercing fang, strom stomp, storm assaut, stormcaller, black flamme tornado, etc etc)

All my build is same. Just weapon and AoW change but same direction

Golden Halberd + another halberd (or 2 Golden Halberds at NG+) with jump attack... added Scarlet Aeonia, Black Blade and heal + protection incantations but "from the get go and through most of the game" is 2 halberds going unga-bunga jump attack one of the halberds being the Golden Halberd.

Every boss has its own weaknesses. You will meet bosses that blasphemus blade does low damage.
But blasphemus blade is one of the best weapons.

Agreed. My stats are OP though so I can pretty much use whatever I want if I need to adapt.

I did STR FAI the first time, and struggled a lot. I did STR INT the second time and struggled a lot less. Most recently, I did a relatively pure arcane build (80 arcane at level 150) and it was by far the easiest run. Arcane+Blood affinity just melts absolutely everything.

Str, then dex, then a little faith and arcane sprinkled in. Just enough for me to use buffs. My "main" is pretty low level.

Faith main full pve support build

High FP for healing, buffing & spam spell. Mainly focus on dealing % HP damage to enemy, i do healing if i can. Minimum str & dex to wear banished knight's halberd with blackflame tornado to kill enemy such as elden beast. And armor prefered fashion with atleast 51 poise.

STR/FTH Dual Omen Killer Cleavers at 175 rn as it's tough to throw souls away...base game was 135 going into DLC

Mainly FTH for buffs and ranged fire

1st character was fully committed to heavy armor, greatshield and sword of night and flame. didn't use summon ashes or npcs. he's sitting at godskin duo currently.

2nd guy and most advanced is my dual hoslows frost whips in ng+ having killed most bosses and dlc bosses.

3rd guy is various sorceries with just enough faith to cast gelmir's fury and ancient death rancor.

have a golem greatbow/zwihander guy. can't remember how far i've gotten.

started a claw guy, haven't gone far on him. just stormviel i think.

spent a few hours starting a mushroom man. going after the shaded castle castellan at lvl 4 was less than ideal but after cheesing the caelid bridge nights cav it wasn't too bad.

kinda wanted to try making a bubble horn guy too.
