Thanky for clarifying
technically you can still use shunter for this swap, but the inherent properties of shunter has been changed so that it no longer has a hitbox when moveset swapping. the "chainsaw fix" that was implemented was this change to shunter, plus adding menu lockout/blackscreen to the "backstep while blocking" animation, which is what enabled the "backstep swap" that was used to chainsaw prior to 1.13. this means that shunter chainsaw with its massive hitbox is gone forever and there is no way to do that anymore with other methods of moveset swap, but these other moveset swap methods can still be used to access the chainsaw animation on other weapons, some of which will have hitboxes, like coded sword or starscourge gs.
this version of chainsaw will be much easier to counter than shunter, but the basics are the same for both - identify that the player has a weapon loadout used for swaps, identify that the player is attempting the swap, and then use ranged pressure to either prevent the swap, or knock them out of the chainsaw animation. without shunter's huge hitbox, this will be easier than ever before. hitting the player and causing them to go into hitstun will instantly prevent them from using the menu, so even if they are in the middle of the swap, hitting them and causing hitstun will prevent them from finishing the swap.
this version of pivot swap, buffered with a consumable, is going to be a bit more difficult than the backstep swap, and its going to be less likely that people will be able to preform it manually, and macros will be even less consistent than backstep swap. additionally, the coded or radahn chainsaw just is not going to be powerful enough for so many people to learn such a difficult swap. for many pvp'ers, it will be more viable to just use a broken/OP setup, or to use deathblight related glitches, like deathblight poison perfume or a deathblight tumblebuff if they want to find some kind of cheesy one shot. its unlikely people will be running into coded/radahn chainsaw anywhere near as much as people would run into shunter chainsaw.
seriouslycasual has been focused on backstab fishing and difficult moveset swaps for many years going back to ds3. doing difficult moveset swaps is just something he likes about the game, and something he is EXTREMELY good at. this video really isnt him looking for the next broken moveset swap to one shot people and grief, this is just him practicing swaps just for pure enjoyment, because it is rewarding to discover and learn to preform these incredibly difficult, incredibly fast combinations of inputs. casual learning and preforming these kinds of swaps is not necessarily an indication that it will become common to see in pvp. what isnt shown in this video is the hours of trying and failing to preform the glitch, bothwhen just practicing on stationary pve mobs and in other invasions. if you run into someone trying to do this, its very likely that you will see them try to preform the glitch over and over before actually landing it. this clip makes it look like he just landed the swap with minimal effort, but youre not seeing the hours of trying and failing that were scattered across the fairly long twitch stream this video was taken from.
if you look at the whole stream, and see all of the countless times he tried and failed to preform this version of chainsaw, and then compare it to one of G9's recent videos showcasing how broken the newly buffed rakshasa great katana is, TBH it seems like the rakshasa is stronger, and a far more viable option if all you want is easy wins. just press L2, hyperarmor thru everything, the moveset basically rollcatches for you. this short clip makes the coded chainsaw seem deceptively viable and OP, when in reality its not significantly better at getting you easy wins than just minmaxing and buff stacking on whatever the most broken setups are at the moment, just used normally without glitches.
Yeah anytime pal.
new chainsaw , use consumable and macro hardswap to another weapon >> I think they will fix by add more delay after using consumable lol.
