haven't seen anyone mention how great they all look, i think it's a significant step up from base game

during my first dlc run i frequently just stopped and admired my character's outfit and have taken countless screenshots

I agree, there are really nice armor pieces in the dlc. The Shadow Militia head piece is one of my favorites, alongside the Black Knight armor.

Also, the Great Jar helm is just comically large.

most of the armor in the base game are either ugly or useless, which was the main issue with the base game.
they unironically balanced drip vs. usefulness, with like, a single exception, which was the tree sentinel armor set.
any other good heavy armor set was hideous.
glad they changed their mind on that, because that always bothered me.

now if they could bring some old pieces up to par that would be nice.
some armor sets are incredibly underpowered, such at maliketh's set.

how does LEGENDARY equipment from the keeper of destined death itself have stats worse than godrick soldier armor lol.
