Dragons and gods and half gods or some ♥♥♥♥, something mashup western mythologies and a few Asian ones, a sprinkle of weeb, The End.
I'm sorry, this is clearly just opinion, but as someone who loves a good book (and even a few trashy ones), this would be a terrible idea, boring as ♥♥♥♥ apart from a few cool concepts here and there and in the end you still don't know what's going on because neither did the author if they were being honest.
Much as I love these games, if the narrative were actually an important part they'd be just awful if left as-is.
But again, just an opinion.
