Do you get back D's armor if you give it to his brother? Without killing the brother of course.
i'm reading on fextra and IGN. I think D's brother's questline ends with him killing Fia and no interaction happens next unless you attack? I'm trying not to be a murder hobo on this current playthrough, but I'm wondering if I'll get back the armor if I finish D and Fia's questlines.

Otherwise, I'll probably just progress Fia's questline and keep it when I get it in the Roundtable.

You'll get it back at the end of Fia's quest.

You can just murder D's twin right after he kills fia. Questline is over anyway, and the dude is a total nutjob.

Oh? Ops. Looks like I committed murder several times for no reason.

Thanks. I did Fia's quest a year ago and watched her get killed by D's brother. I didn't know he'll leave behind the armor after a reload. Was doing the Death ending that time so I was disappointed she got killed.

Do you also pull out a crossbow and just shoot Seluvis in the head every time you come back to him during his quest? I've been doing that since figured out i can do it without him turning hostile.

Yes. I also go out of my way to point him down whenever I can.

Why use a measly crossbow when you can smite him with Rennala's Full Moon, followed by Ranni's Dark Moon? You can even throw Radagon's Rings of Light in there.

You want to control Ranni? You gotta endure the entire family's wrath first. Suffice it to say, not once did he pass the test.
