as if god forbid you wanted to run higher than 60fps you are committing a crime
I don't agree with their decision to condemn ANY mods from online play, even purely visual ones. But it's still gonna be my fault if I break that rule.
A simple concept that applies to all aspects of your life, really.
That being said, yakuzzaggiq, if you want to remove the 180 day penalty in the long run, you need to delete the mod and the affected save file.
In Steam's settings, turn of auto cloud save.
On windows, typ %appdata% and browse to a directory called EldenRing, then delete it.
Unisntall the game through steam, then go to the directory which contained Elden Ring and delete all residue files.
Then go on to reinstall the game through steam, create a new character, save and quit out through the menu. This way the servers should get notified of you having no invalid data any longer.
This will not remove the 180 penalty but it will prevent another 180 day penalty to be applied when your current one expires.
FromSoft : LOCK FPS AT 60 MUHAHAHAHA
I suspect people only mod it so they can use higher fps to get an advantage in pvp.
