If you managed to kill Agheel in a clean way congratulations, everything else should be more or less easy to kill (except the tree sentinel).
Yes here is the problem i din't manage to kill him and i struggled in bosses that aren't even consider to be hard and I stuck multiple times in normal ads. This is why i need tips. I tried getting runes from bosses but this didn't worked really good either.....Thank you anyway.
Ignore Margit for now. Explore the rest of Limgrave and even the underground area. There are a lot of "easy" bosses like the demi human queen all around the place.
Train with weak enemies, try different weapon movesets, learn how to dodge, light attack, strong attack, 2 handed attacks, guard counter.....and so on.
Figure out which weapon and playstyle you like the most.
Learn about crafting, ash of war / weapon skills and how to upgrade weapons.
You don't need to farm runes, you'll earn them just by exploring the map. Avoid stronger bosses for now.
In Limgrave are to find lot of NPCs, exhaust their dialogues and talk to them several times.
Visit all merchants and check what they have to offer.
Take your time, explore the whole Limgrave and also the area to the south ( Weeping Peninsula).
This time is not wasted, you'll be much better prepared after doing this the first 10-20 hours.
Level up vigor!!!
*Billy Mais voice*: BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Some generalized tips:
Take the slow approach. Obeserve your surroundings and see how you can defeat your enemies best. See what your weapon's moveset offers for single enemies and for groups (there often is a difference in holding a weapon onehanded, compared to holding it with both hands at once).
When you're in combat, try to attack calculated. Don't turn the game into a button masher, you'll make it if you keep your cool and time your rolls.
Swinging your weapon while two handing it also prevents it from bouncing off of shields for the most part.
Make use of your weapon's entire moveset. Meaning use light attacks but also chargable heavy attacks, which will often lead to stance breaking your enemies and bosses to leave them vulnerable to a devastating blow (indicated by a glowing orange point somewhere on their body/head, depending on their size).
Jump attacks also deal heavy stance damage, on top of dealing high health damage.
Try to lure out single enemiess if you are facing a group of them which would seemingly overwhelm you.
You can do so by shooting an arrow/bolt using a bow/crossbow, or by throwing consumables like knives, pots, etc.
Don't be afraid to die. It will happen again, and then it'll happen once more. Losing is fun.
Don't cry over spilt milk runes.
Mess around with different weapons and use what you enjoy the most. There is no wrong weapon, but you will realize that there is the right weapon for certain situations (moveset, skills, etc.).
As Silent Warrior already said, do not neglect vigor, even when playing as a caster.
Vigor gives back the highest hp returns between 20-40. By the end of the game, have at least 50, but no more than 60 vigor, as you'll get deminishing returns from 61.
Don't be afraid to allocate your stats so you can use certain spells or weapons. There is an option to respec your character a bunch of times, unlocked during the early game.
Don't be afraid to summon in help. Jolly cooperation is always available and always appreciated. Praise the Sun!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As others already mentioned, make your way towards south Limgrave and towards the east of Limgrave, but only until you see a burning church and the sky turns red. You don't want to proceed any further than that until after clearing Limgrave and the are North of it.
Interact wih all npcs you can spot, try to buy cookbooks from the merchants and try to collect some golden seeds to upgrade your flask.
Of all bosses you can defeat in Limgrave, of one of them is without a doubt the hardest. He is guarding the entrance to Castle Stormveil and will most likely lead to you rethinking your strategy more than once.
There are bunch of things in Limgrave which will help you defeat him. One of these items is sold by a vendor who poses as a boss at first, but don't let yourself get fooled by his appareance. He resides in a cave north of Lake Agheel, close to a spot were a Bloody Finger invades you.
I'll edit the post if anything else comes to my mind.
No.
Reduvia, Dragon communion seal, Golden Halberd...DEVOURER SCEPTER....no dude, just NO.
Devourer Scepter is only there if you kill Bernahl, Reduvia and DCS are only useful for arcane builds, Golden Halberd is ok, but a beginner doesn't particularly need it. It has a good moveset, but you need quite an investment of stats to make it good. A first playthrough dude who is struggling isn't gonna make great use of it. On the proper build, both dragon seal and Reduvia ARE pretty good, but they're not a good beginner choice. Stormveil has nice loot, though. Just the open world is mostly terrible rune rewards and useless stuff like flamedrake talisman and the roar talisman and dancer talisman that are only useful for people who know what they're doing.
And besides, if you DO need certain items, it's not like you can't return later to steamroll the specific spots you have to. Limgrave got really old for me even on the first playthrouh when I realized that once I see 1-2 caves and 1-2 catacombs, I've seen them all, and even on my first go, pretty much none of the rewards were worth it. Stormveil and some stuff in Stormhill like the Golden Vow skill are few of the truly good Limgrave items that are universally useful.
We can even count the dragon halberd from the "basement" and a few more i cant remember (i think the Erdtree bow was in Fringefolk hero grave). Yes thats mid/endgame gear but there is stuff like the ritual axe....meh i dont want to spoil OP!.
Didnt asked OP about his build to prevent spoilers but oh well!. I just dont want the guy to belive everything in Limgrave is hot garbage and try his luck in "Downtown" Caelid.....
OP, keep exploring and hoarding everything you can before attempting Margit.
