Weapons that were missed opportunities
While we have a good variety of weapons i feel some of them could have been more:

-Battle Hammers: Aka the Dueslist Hammer, this one should have been a paired weapon like Radahn's Swords, the Duelist always use two of them, and the Roar Skill could have affected the moveset in a way similar to how they turn the weapon around to use the spike on the back of the hammer, allowing to deal Pierce dmg with them, this also applies to the Rotten variant since its basically the same weapon but with rot.

-Dragon Greatclaw: All this weapon had to do, was to copy the homework of Dragonslayer Armor from DS3, and have the Thunder Slam attack from his greataxe, instead it copied the homework of the dumb student of the class and its stuck with Endure, so now its one of the most disappointing weapons in the game.

-Scepter of the All-Knowing: This thing should have been a catalyst rather than a weapon, and a dual one at that, being able to use Incantations and Sorceries, which fits the theme of the character, worth mentioning how it should have been Int-Faith scaling as well.

-Whips in general: Kick... freaking Kick... why Whips dont have their own Skill? this is even worse than Flails, give them some cool combo attack like in DS3, this class already suffers from lack of variety on AoW, they should at least get their own.

-Flails: Speaking of, Spinning Chain needs an AoW, you can only use this skill if you dont infuse the weapon at all, when Straight Swords get Square Off and Katanas Unsheathe, then theres no excuse for Spinning Chain to not be an AoW as well.

Another thing, their charge attack is really slow, i feel one particular thing that could have work for this weapon, was to be able to block with a shield while charging a heavy attack, it fits.

-Hammers, Flails and Axes: The Powerstance Moveset of these weapons is TERRIBLE, not much that can be said, its too slow.

-Bloodhound Claw and Fang: I think these two should have been a paired weapon and be the second coming of Farron Greatsword, the skill could have been the same (And lets be honest thats the main reason people use Fang to begin with), and have a completely unique moveset, would be cool in general to have different paired weapons again, and these two could have been one.

-Blade of Calling: Making two weapons nearly identical means one of them will just be outclassed and yeah, its this one, Black Knife is just better in nearly every way, other than having a more expensive skill, one idea i heard that i do agree with, is that rather than Blade of Gold, it would instead buff the weapon the same way Darkmoon does, and allow the heavy attack to throw a projectile while the buff lasts, this would make it different from Black Knife and give it its own edge over it.

-Varre's Bouquet: This weapon... oh god the dmg of this thing is just as abysmal as his personality, to the point its only use is to apply Status Effects, and nothing else, and even then theres way better options, leaving the dmg aside, the other problem is the Skill, Blood Tax itself isnt terrible, but it just isnt it for a Hammer, let alone a short weapon, and this weapons IS short, my idea for a unique skill would be to throw a cloud of blood that inflicts bleed, similar to Freezing or Poison Mists, it would be almost the same as the mist left behind by the Bloody Putrid Corpses when they explode.

Well, those are just that come to mind, have any of your own?

As a duel whip enthusiast, I agree on needing a unique skill. Whips are still useful in pve and pvp, don't get me wrong. ....But compared to double vykes, not even close.

The closest thing we get is that curved sword that doubles as a whip, but instead of that it would be nice if we could get a trick weapon ability that works like the Bloodborne pimp cane.

Imagining a whip-only ashe of war that turns your whip into a curved sword/hard stick back and forth at a light mana cost.

Varre's boquet, I think is a joke weapon. I maxed it out when I did an arcane build and just really ***ing struggled until I moved back to eochaid's.

That skill could have been the Flowing weapons, which btw, we didnt get the daggers for whatever reason.

Yeah, a few of the Nox enemies use double daggers which can also turn into small shields and use then as fist weapons or something

Weapons have a wide range of effectiveness. Some can be max levelled and still be utterly useless while others can be very effective with even a few upgrades. It's peculiar because many guides mention you should be at a certain level and have maxed upgrade weapon without any reference as to which weapon. On top of that they are often showing outdated techniques. I kept getting my butt handed to me with a fully upgraded godskin peeler and blade of stars before I got hold of the blasphemous blade. Even at +6, what a difference.

Wanted to add another one that i think everyone will agree with.

Ordovis's Greatsword, why does this weapon NOT have a running poke attack? everyone that has fought the Axe Crucible Knights has gotten poked by this freaking weapon, the fact that the one we get doesnt get a poke of any kind is just wrong.

Marika's hammer. Both in height, and in distance, what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ letdown.

Also nobles presence:
- When used by a godskin noble: instantaneous, no windeup or telegraph, wide radius and knocks you into the air.
- When used by you: Very long charge time, no radius you must be point blank, no poise, knocks enemy into the air if you actually manage to get it off.

Placudiax ruin not scaling with dragon communion seal. How TF is it a dragon cult spell, and not a dragon communion spell? It looks and behaves exactly like a communion spell FFS.

No Friede scythes. I can't be the only one who just loves its moveset even without the WA.

Yeah, Noble's Presence is a joke compared to the boss version.

At least give us some hyperarmor

The monks who wield the Nox Flowing Hammer can turn it into some kind of dual wielded shield which they use like a caestus.
Being able to do the same would have been pretty rad.
