Every time i wanne start i think about running through the world for over 1 hour to collect all the free items and upgrades only to feel OP early on.
I need to force myself to clear whole areas before iam allowed to move on.
So the open world aspect has a huge downside for me personal.
Its fun at first, but loses more and more with every playthrough, so much of the side content is skipable or a just a solid timesink.
Thats the funny thing about ER, its crazy hard if you play it in Old Souls fashion, such as not using the Spirit Ashes, but if you do use everything, ER might be the easiest souls game
they're done so poorly that they feel like a low effort mod
If I had to pick a single one it would be crystal sword. A somber weapon with literally nothing special about it and a waste of asset
For me it's that there's no real Great Club :(
And no, in my opinion, the big stick you find in Old Altus Tunnel doesn't count. It's not infusible, also split damage with the worst elemental damage type.
Edit:
I just realized, that's not the biggest disapointment I have with Elden Ring.
But I sure miss my beloved.
the lack of DLC
need 8 dlc now HURRRY
Speaking of bosses, Radagon not getting a proper second phase is a crime against the Erdtree.
Also, Great Runes. Excellent idea, terrible execution.
