I hate them. I almost dropped this game when i got to Mountaintops of the Giants, last year, when i was playing this on my PS4. A bunch of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the giant birds (or dogs,i can't remember...maybe both) were in this spot, and they kept fighting each other but i wanted to explore that whole area so i had no choice but to kill them all. It took me almost 20 min and many deaths

They're super weak to fire. The first time you hit one with fire they get locked in a panic animation and you can use that as your chance to quickly finish them.

The 2 huge giant hands in the mountain don't care about fire it seems. Also they don't drop any loot which is weird.

Especially if you're trying to play guitar to an audience. Giant hands will certainly paralyze you then.
