Kudos From Software. BOTW did a nice reimagining of the OG Legend of Zelda concept but Elden Ring took that old concept, turned it upside down and spat a crab-filled rotted swamp of a masterpiece in its stead and I couldn’t be happier for it. Thank you very much to everyone who worked on this game and I hope there's more incoming. Plenty of clouds on that map that could be covering a nice new area.
For the first half I relied mainly on just buying 20-rune arrows, it only costs about 14k to get the full stack of 699 which will take you pretty far. I didn't exclusively use the bow, so I had a backup melee weapon in case I ran out.
Later on (around capital/mountaintops), I started making big stacks of lightning and bleed arrows. At that point I had the bell bearing to buy beast bones, and there's a good spot to quickly farm flight pinions in Siofra.
At this point (snowfield) I've got full 699 stacks of lighting and bleed arrows and it's not that much work to keep them filled.
Most recently I downed Godfrey, Margott, Niall, and fire giant with just the bow.
Beautiful Game.
Copious Amount of Content (But most of it is OPTIONAL.)
More versatility in builds than ever
beautiful player models
Interesting boss designs
Lots of ending choices (Despite a few being reskins.)
