Also a reliable leaker said FROM SOFTWARE isn't doing anything involving bloodborne, but said they don't know anything about bluepoint.
So they are a FROM SOFTWARE insider, so if you wanna huff copium, their is a chance bluepoint or some other company the leaker has no knowledge of is doing it.
I think Sony is super angry that From doesn't want to do exclusive Soulsborne games for Sony anymore.
That's Sony's decision, not FROMs btw.
Yeah, I know people, myself included, who would buy a PS5 day 1 if Sony announced a BB remaster or "next-gen" patch. There's clearly some kind of bad blood going on. That's also a part of why they outsourced Demon's Souls license to Bluepoint, because Sony doesn't want to involve From anymore, or vice-versa.
JAPAN Studio were heavily involved in the production of Demon's Souls and Bloodborne. The DNA of PlayStation runs through both games. That's why Bloodborne is the best game FROM has ever made. They need that PS magic to go beyond their own capability.
Now that JAPAN Studio has been closed we will never see a game like that again.
Demon's Souls invented a genre. Bloodborne defined it. At best, maybe one day Bluepoint will be allowed to massacre the game and make their lame excuse for a "remaster" on PS6. But PC? Never.
For the millionth time, From owns 0% of the intellectual property of Bloodborne. They don't decide anything about it, they don't get to use its assets, they don't get to put new versions out, and they most definitely get no say in regards to whether it's ported or remade. The exact same way that happened with DeS.
Why Sony has decided to port other of their exclusives to PC but not do Bloodborne just yet? There's no way to know unless we work at Sony and have access to such discussions. Please... for the love of all that is good in this world, stop expecting From to decide on something THEY DON'T OWN!
Nothing you said changes the fact that Sony may be abandoning the game due to bad blood with From. There could also be a dispute about the game behind closed doors. And I'm placing the blame on Sony, not From.
How can a company that doesn't own any share of something dispute it? That's not how any of it works. Bad blood? Are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 12? This isn't a middle school classroom. Sony owns it, they do with it WHATEVER THEY WANT! And no one at From gets to stop them, stall them, change their decision in any way regardless of how much they moan about it.
For the last time… hopefully. From Software owns NOTHING of Bloodborne. Absolutely nothing. They don't decide anything on it and no one at Sony has any obligation to give a ♥♥♥♥ about what anyone at From wants in regards to Bloodborne. Legal or otherwise.
