Radagon soreseal. 20free points

- erdtree favor as a general boost in overall perfomance.
- radagon's soreseal provides 20 free points in relevant stats often allowing to wield weapons that are otherwise unusable.
- dragoncrest shield for damage negation since essentially all enemies deal at least a portion of their damage as physical damage.

Very good choices, the dragoncrest negates the radagon soreseal damage loss.

Erdtree Favor +2. Anything else is optional for the build.

^this
lots of people reserve 1-2 slots for these.

I've liked the great phys defense talisman for more staying power as well, Alexander's Shard was neat (sad you get that so late) and Carian Crest helped a lot (used Bloodhound's Fang / side weapon Sword Dance most of the game)
Later the big resistance Talismans also carried their weight.

Liked the idea of the Winged insignia, but my weapon was too slow to utilize it efficiently.

dragoncrest greatshield that is flatout 15% physic damage negate
if u use soreseal then dont ask why u get 1 shot from many thing in game maybe it worth early game but once u get +5 version u pretty much dont need them anymore
sharibi woe and daedicar woe if u want ur game tobe harder and everything 1 shot u
many other talisman wort use late game then soreseal like shard of alexander or radagon icon graven mass talisman

Shard of Alexander, takes some of the strongest moves in the game and makes them even stronger.

Radagon Soreseal if you're at low vigor. It becomes a liability once it's over 40 I feel. Others are Dragoncrest Greatshield, Pearldrake Talisman +2 and Great Jar Arsenal. The last one can be skipped, but I often find myself using it because many heavy armours give you really cool Elden Bling.

very build dependent but as a general idea radagons seal and great shield with erdtree are very good for melee builds

Great jars arsenal for heavy weapon builds. Stamina is already very generous, so you can save yourself from pumping a lot of levels into endurance if all you want is to meet weight requirements. And it is percentage-based so the more equip load you already have, the more equip load it opens up for fashion or secondary/tertiary slot equipment.

Great for early game, bad for endgame.
You really want that damage reduction to not get two shotted by every endgame boss.
Tiasmoon Mar 26, 2022 @ 9:57am
Radagon's soreseal for almost the entire game. (untill you wont care about 15-20 extra stats points anymore) Not Marika's since the soreseal is in the Haligtree and by that point it doesnt matter anymore. Also, Radagon's actually provides better stats for most mage builds too.

Erdtree's favor is good too, but the specific talismans (equip load, stamina) for its effects trump it.

Dragoncrest shield since its a good damage reduction, or its elemental versions for specific bosses.

Otherwise talisman that increase damage dealt by skills, damage done at max hp, etc. Stamina talisman are great too.

Not if you slap Alexander into next week at the first encounter? (wink wink)

Already mentioned. But, the Radagon's Soreseal. It's literally the first thing I go grab when making a new character.
