Are cutscenes playing at half speed for anyone? Or am I insane?
Enjoying the game so far, however I noticed there seems to be a bug with cutscenes. They play around half the speed that they should. Lip syncing and animations are very slow and very off.

Since the cutscenes are in-game, the reason why is probably because your pc's bad.

uh probably not, 5600x and RTX 2080 running the uncapped framerate Cheat Engine script with 110 FPS average.

could be the script causing the issue.

Well... if you're averaging 110 fps and the cutscenes are running at half speed, wouldn't they be running at roughly the 60 fps the game is originally locked at? :cactuar:
Depends which cutscenes. The obvious pre-rendered ones (that look really crunchy) are abysmally low framerate. I swear they are 30fps or something.

Well I found the problem. It was the script after all. Cutscene animations and audio work as intended without the FPS script.

Shame I can't use it 100%, but the game is still plenty playable at 60FPS.

If I had to guess what the issue was, the script was attempting to run the pre-rendered animations at a higher FPS. When it couldn't, it instead ended up spitting out a bunch of dupe frames that slowed down the playback immensely.

Set the game's framerate limit to 30 to fix.

Im having the same issue, even if I change it to 30fps the audio specifically on the super sonic transformation cutscenes is always faster than the video, idk what else to change

I'm having the same issue. How did you fix it? If you did of course! - Zac!

Set Sleepless Render / Window Thread in Special K's framerate limiter advanced section, then turn on SK's framerate limiter. Should fix all this up.
