Can't even launch the game.
Title states it how it is. The game will simply just crash at launch every time. I've verified the integrity of the game files and tried running it as an administrator but nothing I do seems to fix it. If anyone else had this problem and was able to solve it, please let me know.

not even getting a black screen. It begins launching, then exits, no message, no black screen, nothing.
Same issue here. Any luck with this? I guess not since it looks like you refunded it.

Sorry, no. I ended up refunding and figured buying a physical copy for console was the best option. Half of the problem was Denuvo stopping me investigate what was up. Even if it were to suddenly work at some point, having to put up with DRM is a major turn-off for me.
On the bright side, I beat and 100% the game in it's entirety and would definitely recommend. I'm just disappointed in what appears to be a total lack of playtesting on pc.

Completely understandable. It sucks when they add denuvo to single player games like these, especially when it prevents players from even playing the game. Glad you got it refunded!

Why would they even need Denuvo on a multiplayer game? :P

Updated my game ready drivers, Alt+enter to minimise on startup, worked perfectly for me.

Guys - i have this installed on Win11 on the SteamDeck, so that’s the AMD Radeon chip - but Windows 11 installed.

The game wouldn’t run or would crash at start, or not even take me to the game once (i got to the options once though)

So last resort was to try Vulkan for Windows - which seems to fix the issue…

So you should unzip / untar the DXVK 2.0 dlls and copy the relevant ones to the root folder where the Game EXE is (mine were for the 64bit version / DX11 : d3d11.dll and dxgi.dll)

Thanks

Not sure why you just assume that op must have a mod loader for a game that they couldn't even boot.

Not only was there not even mod loader support for the game at launch (when the OP was posted) but the mod manager causing crashes wasn't even a problem until the recent update came out. Thanks for the two month bump though I guess

Just realized that is literally their first ever post. Super weird.

Where exactly did you find these? I found what I thought were the right ones but it didn't fix the issue.
