Sorry, for some reason I thought it was restricted to WIn10 and above due to DirectX 12, however you are right, my bad, minimum requirements are for DirectX 11 Cards.

Nope, it's well known that Platform Update adds telemetry in Windows 7 without the ability to turn it off. You're just a little uninformed on this stuff I guess.

Windows 7 shipped with D3D 11.0, the rest of the industry is running D3D 11.4, Platform Update gets you partial support for D3D 11.1 on Wndows 7.

The Platform Update didn't have telemetry, you're pulling that out of your ass. All later updates that have telemetry are either undesirable (and therefore can simply not be installed at all) or can have their telemetry scrubbed.

It in fact did and is well known for it. Not that it matters, Microsoft doesn't care about the health of that platform anyway.

Tried win7 and had no success. Maybe there was some other issue, but it did not work for me.
