Other than 4K, what does this have over OpenRA's C&C Module?

Aside from the fact that OpenRA is still missing one crucial element called "campaign progression" and multiplayer games are highly modified from originals, what else do you need to know?

All complete fully playable single player campaigns + all add-ons + console missions + secret missions + new missions
versus
Unfinished campaigns with roughly 33 missions out of 81 playable in TD and 28 out of 80 in RA.

What to pick, I wonder? Decisions, decisions.

Please don't get me wrong, I respect OpenRA efforts as multiplayer-oriented game\mod with ambitions. But if you seriously comparing it with this remaster, it's just silly.

Maybe.

This one gets ~100 players a day according to their charts: https://www.openra.net/games/

I take it you didn't read the store page and learn about all the additional features and bonus content not found anywhere else?

The fluff? Yes I read that and watched the Trailer.

You mean other than OpenRA's C&C module doesn't actually work yet? I don't know. What do you think?

They could add some of OpenRA's features, however. The Soviet Flacktrack and Heavy APC, for example.

For future multiplayer modes - absolutely. But singleplayer should stay as is, classic as possible.

Come on, OpenRA is far from an authentic experience (it's basically the old games with C&C 3 balance, kind of a huge wtf) and it's very much only focused on multiplayer and nothing else. The project is 10 years old yet you can't even play through the campaigns with the proper presentation of the old games, it's just a drop down menu and "♥♥♥♥ you, play the mission you want, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥".

There is no contest and no legitimate comparison between the two really: this is the real deal, the original games remastered, expanded and improved while OpenRA is just some multiplayer mod.

Fair enough! I actually wasn't aware of all the Campaign incompletions as I never bothered playing the Campaign in OpenRA, I only played the Multiplayer. I played enough Single player with the actual discs I have.

The multiplayer is, for the most part, modified for the better. I believe anyways.
