Why is the game showing up as 3360 x 1440 on my 3440 x 1440p monitor ?
My game is showing up as 3360 x 1440 on my 3440 x 1440p monitor for some reason. My monitor is Acer Predator X34 and my graphics card in Asus 1080Ti Poseidon. Graphics driver is updated to latest nvidia driver 451.67 on Windows 10 2004 ( build 19041.329 ). Any ideas dev, any one ?

DPI scaling probably, set it to 100%

I at least can not see any DPI scaling settings inside the game.
SleepSmasher Jul 14, 2020 @ 8:13am
Nah, not a DPI issue, seems like 3360x1440 is somehow hard-coded, changing the settings file even prevents the game from starting.

May be they did the movies in 3360 x 1440 and want to set the entire game to that resolution to maintain uniformity. The devs are online, hopefully they answer me.

DPI scaling is not a game setting. It's an OS setting, that changes the math for resolutions. Games that claim to be DPI aware will get weird numbers back because they're supposed to know how to divide by your DPI scale to calculate actual resolution.

1440 / 9 * 21 = 3360 - seems to be an oversight by the devs by not allowing any resolution that's not strictly that of the display aspect ratio, maybe the game engine does not support it. Same issue myself.

My Scale and Layout option in windows 10 v2004 is already set to 100% on all monitors. Unless I am not looking at it correctly.

I can see many other people have the same query, but no response from the devs ?!

So does this mean that 3440x1440 21:9 is broken? If so, hopefully a fix will come soon because according to the interview I just saw, their intention was to fully support it.

No it works but only with 3360 x 1440 resolution, so I see little black bars on two ides of the screen.

Most likely they used the international-cinema standard for what is considered "ultrawide" with 3360x1440 -- only the gaming industry considers this 3440x1440.

And yes, it's a video game but at least there's ANY 21:9 support and we aren't stuck in 1080.

Hopefully they will fix it soon.
